I'm glad you are here!

Mrs. Aribibola

I am so excited for this year! This is my 14th year of teaching and my third year teaching at Presidents Elementary. I moved to Arlington in 3rd grade, attended Presidents Elementary School, then eventually graduated from Arlington High School. I continued my schooling at Western Washington University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education.  In 2000 I received my Masters Degree in Literacy from Lesley College.

I have a wonderfully, supportive husband and four kids. My oldest son, Derek, leaves for Air Force Boot Camp in September. My daughter, Sade, just graduated from Arlington High School and is attending Everett Community College this year and then she is hoping to finish her studies in either London or Dublin.  I also have two younger sons, Dele is an 8th grader at Haller and Kayode is a 5th grader, here, at Presidents. We have a 9 month old puppy named Winnie and a kitty named Roo.  I love my family!  We are very involved in football, basketball and music. I spend many nights and weekends at practices or taxiing my children to their events, which I truly enjoy!

This summer I took a few classes, and read lots of books (my favorite was called The Fault in Our Stars.  My family spent a week in Discovery Bay walking on the beach and gathering shells with my mom and grandma. We also got to spend a week in Birch Bay with my dad and step mom. Probably the highlight of my summer was the  2 weeks I got to spend in London and Dublin with my daughter visiting Universities and sight seeing!  This was my first experience traveling abroad and I loved it!
