Presidents Elementary's Veterans Day Assembly is Thursday, November 7th, 2019 at 9:30 am.
Each year we give our Presidents community the opportunity to honor friends and family who have served, or are currently serving in the armed forces. I will be collecting names and photos of Veterans and Active Duty Soldiers known by our Presidents community for a slide show until Thursday, October, 31st.
Names from years past need to be re-submitted each year. Photos do not need to be re-submitted. If you submit a name, I will check the photos on my computer. Names and/or new photos can be e-mailed to me ([email protected]), or brought to school with the information at the bottom of this e-mail. E-mailing me a .jpg file works best, and keeps your treasured photos safe at home. If you don’t have a way to scan photos at home I can do it at school, but it may take a couple of days. Please include name of person in photo, branch of military service, and name of the student to return it to.
